Balcony Bras

Balcony bras are the perfect option if you are wearing square or wide necklines as they are low fronted and give an uplifted and sexy shape.  The shoulder straps are very 'open', usually placed as far to the side as possible, and the coverage is much lower than a full cup bra, in fact it is often a 'half cup' style.  If you want this style look out for balcony, balconette, half cup and plunge/balcony styles.  Here are our favourites:

If you are looking for the balcony style with a little more coverage our two best sellers are Prima Donna Madison Balconet bra and the Fantasie Elodie side support bra (not strictly a balcony, but almost).  Both are a great fit, giving an uplifted shape without being over the top.

T Shirt Bras

No matter what the season we should all possess a T shirt bra for wearing under fitted tops, but don't forget to ensure you have the right bra to give you that smooth and lifted shape.  To help you choose from our fabulous range we've put together a list of our most popular T shirt bra styles. 

Marie Jo L'Aventure Tom in cafe latte from A to E cup.  This ultra smooth multiway bra is perfect for wearing under even the tightest of tops, and the pretty straps can also be worn as a halterneck.

Marie Jo Avero is seam free and very lightly padded to give a smooth shape.  The pretty white daisy shoulder straps can also be worn as a halterneck - much too nice to hide away. 

Marie Jo Intense Energy Beads sports bra - a surprising hit with all our customers looking for a smooth cup bra.  This lightweight breathable underwired sports bra gives an amazingly rounded and lifted shape.  Comes with a lingerie wash bag to use in your machine - pretty and practical!  No wonder it's a best seller.

Freya Deco is another great option for full busted girls.  A great shape, an ultra smooth finish and a low price point keep this bra in the best seller list.

If you prefer not to wear a wired bra then the Rosa Faia Twin Romance comfort bra is for you.  The seam free cups are perfect for under T shirts and you will be delighted with the great shape and comfortable fit. 

Full Cup Bras

A full cup bra is the ideal choice if you require more  coverage and support especially for those of us with a D+ cup size.  Shoulder straps on a full cup bra are designed to start in a central position, so this is a great option if you have narrow or sloping shoulders and experience the constant irritation of re-adjusting your shoulder straps. 

Our all time favourite is the Prima Donna Deauville full cup bra.  It has everything:  comfortable shoulder straps, side support for centering the breasts, full coverage for that secure feeling, and amazing support giving an uplifted and more youthful shape.  On top of all this, the Deauville is a beautiful and feminine bra and comes in black, white, natural and skin tone up to an I cup.  Twice a year Prima Donna add a fashion colour to the range, for Spring/Summer '11 it is fresh and feminine crocus.

Plunge Bras

A typical plunge bra has a low centre gore (the front connection between the cups) and is styled to centre the breasts creating a sensual look; it is the ideal choice for low cut necklines or if you prefer the underwire to finish low at the front. 

You may notice that some bras are referred to as 'plunge balcony' which is a combination of the best features of both giving an uplifted sexy shape.  This combination usually results in the centre gore being higher than a standard plunge bra so this might not be the best option if a low front is your main priority.

Teen Bras
